On a mission to create equality, visibility, and respect.Liz created a private Facebook group for Lansing Area Women, Trans, and Non-Binary Musicians in the summer of 2015 and started inviting local musicians to join. Read more about Liz and the inspiration for this project in a City Pulse interview from January 6, 2016.
A message from Liz:Through this project, group, and community, I hope to help fellow musicians in the Lansing area to be visible, to showcase these talented individuals in our city. I hope to create a safe space for discussing issues that women, trans, and gender non-binary individuals encounter in the music industry, and through these discussions facilitate positive changes. I hope to give back to the community, and to encourage and promote music and art of all kinds.
